Before purchasing compatible ink cartridges for your Epson R265 printer, please read the following:

Not all Epson R265 printers are the same, so not all Epson R265 printers will accept compatible ink cartridges. This is not isolated to our brands of inks, but to compatible inks in general.

How will I know if my printer will accept the compatible T801 – T806 inks?

This all depends on when you printer was manufactured by Epson.

• If your printer was manufactured before 01 March 2007, then our current compatible inks will work.

• If your printer was manufactured after 01 April 2007, then the current compatible ink cartridges will not work with your printer

• If your printer was manufactured during March 2007, then the current compatible ink cartridges may or may not work, it all depends if you have the newer R265 version of printer. The compatibles only work with the earlier, older version. If you are unsure, we suggest you purchase just one compatible cartridge to test in your printer.

Does it matter when I bought my printer?

If you bought your printer during March, April or May it is worth checking when it was manufactured, as it may have been manufactured in February, so the compatible inks will work. If the R265 printer was manufactured after 1^st March 2007, use the information above.

How can I find out when my printer was manufactured?

• You will need to contact your local Epson service centre, who has the ability to check by using your printer’s serial number. You may have bought your printer in March, but it was perhaps manufactured in January or February.

I have bought an Epson R265 printer after 01 March 2007, the printer was manufactured after 1^st April and I want to purchase compatible inks?

• We will have new compatible ink cartridges available soon that will be compatible with all current Epson R265 printers, regardless of when it was produced.

(note from ALL4MATS: These 'new' cartridges will be postfixed with a plus. Eg R265+, T801+)
